Filipe Luis suffered broken fibers in the abductor
The Brazilian will start the injury recovery on Friday with physical therapy and water therapy.
Filipe Luis was submitted this morning for an MRI scan in the Fremap clinic in Majadahonda revealing that the full back as “fiber breakage Grade II in the middle of the right thigh abductor muscle", as reported in part provided by the medical service club.
The Brazilian was injured 13 minutes into the first half of the second leg quarterfinal Cup game against Athletic in San Mames on Wednesday night and had to leave the field and was replaced by Emiliano Insua.
Filipe begins the recovery process this Friday with physical therapy and water therapy.
