Filipe Luis and Saúl reach milestones for Atlético
Both players are cementing themselves as Atlético legends.
Filipe Luis played his 200th LaLiga match for Atlético de Madrid, while Saúl reached 100 league matches for the club.
Only three foreign-born players had reached this historic mark for the club: Jorge Griffa (204), Diego Godín (224) and Luis Amaranto Perea (224). Throughout the course of the season, Filipe can end up surpassing Griffa and Perea.
Our Brazilian left back signed for the club in 2010 and made his debut on 26 September in a win over Zaragoza, while our number '8' rose through the ranks and made his debut in 2013 against Sevilla when he was 18 years old.
