Simeone arranged an evening session attended by both Brazilians after returning from their matches with Brazil while the Turk did gym work after playing with his international side.
Atletico Madrid held a session in the evening at Majadahonda Sports City that lasted an hour and a half. Simeone could count on the Brazilians Diego Costa and Luis Filipe along with and Arda Turan, although the Turkish midfielder had a regenerative session in the gym after playing two official matches for his national side. Youth players Óliver Torres and Javier Manquillo, plus Keita, Benji, David Gomez also exercised with the first team.
At last the rain made way for the rojiblancos after several days when the weather played its part. Oscar Ortega ordered the first few minutes of physical work with different stations before the team worked on elements with the important match against Valencia in mind.
On Thursday, the rest of the internationals should be back with Courtois, Falcao, Cristian Rodriguez and Godin expected to join the squad.
