Fifth friendly of the pre-season at the Coliseum
Our team faces the fifth friendly of the pre-season on Friday, the 11th, at the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez to play Getafe at 20:30.
The team is unbeaten in the preparatory matches played so far, with a balance of two wins and two ties. We began with a goalless tie in Mexico against Toluca, in the 100th anniversary celebration of the Mexican team. We continued with the Audi Cup, with a win against Naples (2-1) and a comeback thanks to the goals by Torres and Vietto. And in the Audi Cup final, a 1-1 tie against Liverpool, with a goal from Keidi, was finally won in the penalty shootouts (4-5). And, last Sunday, another win in England against Brighton & Hove Albion (2-3), with goals by Gaitán, Torres and Lucas.
Our rival, Getafe, will play their fourth friendly after beating Girona (1-0), tying against Alcoyano (1-1) and losing against Atlético Baleares (1-3). Getafe is still managed by José Bordalás, the coach who managed the promotion to the top flight after beating Tenerife in the fateful playoff.
