Fernando Torres hands a commemorative plaque to Saúl after he defended our kit for the 200th time
Saúl is making history for our club and played his 200th match for our club against Arsenal at the Wanda Metropolitano. Torres will receive his commemorative plaque on the final match of the season against Eibar.
Saúl keeps on making history for our club. In the UEFA Europa League semi-final return leg against Arsenal at the Wanda Metropolitano, he defended our colours and badge for the 200th time at just 23 years old.
Fernando Torres handed Saúl a plaque commemorating his 200 matches for our club. Torres also made history against Arsenal and on that historic night at the Wanda Metropolitano, he played his 400th match for our club. He'll receive his special plaque commemorating his 400+ matches for our club on the final match of the season against Eibar at the Wanda Metropolitano.
Saúl joined our club back in 2008 when he was just 13 years old and rose through the ranks until he made his debut for the first team in the UEFA Europa League against Beşiktaş JK. He later became a permanent member of the first team in the 2014/15 season.
In total, he's played for our club in LaLiga, Copa del Rey, Spanish Super Cup, UEFA Europa League and UEFA Champions League and has been a key player for our team and scored important goals. In all competitions, he's scored 28 goals and has won three titles: Europa League, Copa del Rey and Spanish Super Cup.
