Fernando Torres equals Luis Aragonés' 370 matches with Atlético de Madrid

Fernando Torres made history after stepping on the pitch in the first-ever derby against Real Madrid in the Wanda Metropolitano.

Our striker played his 370th match with Atlético de Madrid and equalled Luis Aragonés' tally for the club. 

The game against Real Madrid was Torres' 301st LaLiga appearance for Atleti. He's also defended the red and white jersey in 37 Copa del Rey matches and 32 European clashes (27 in the Champions League and 5 in the Intertoto Cup). Torres made his debut for Atlético on 27 May 2001 and scored his first goal on 3 June 2001 against Albacete.
