Diego Pablo Simeone nominated for 2018 The Best FIFA Men's Coach

Diego Pablo Simeone has been nominated for the 2018 The Best FIFA Men's Coach Award after coaching us to UEFA Europa League glory and a second place finish in LaLiga, during the period of 3 July 2017 to 15 July 2018.
In this timeframe, Simeone coached us to UEFA Europa League glory. Our team beat Olympique Marseille 3-0 to win our third Europa League trophy. But guiding us to our Europa League title isn't the only reason our boss was nominated for this prestigious award. He also led our side to a wonderful second placed finish in LaLiga.
In the period stipulated by FIFA, Simeone coached us 59 times with a wonderful record of 50 matches without a loss (34 wins).
The winner of The Best FIFA Coach Player award will be selected by an international jury comprising the current coaches of all men’s national teams (one per team), the current captains of all men’s national teams (one per team), one specialist journalist from each territory represented by a national team and fans from all over the world registered on FIFA.com. The winner will be announced on 24 September in London.
