Diego Forlán returns to a matchday roster against Levante
Noguera, reserve midfielder, called up by Quique S. Flores
Atlético de Madrid held their final training of the week before taking on Levante with a session that was open to the media for the first half hour.
The team began with a warm-up and continued with 10-on-10 possession games without goalkeepers, while De Gea and Joel did specific work with Emilio Álvarez. Before closing the doors of the session to the media, the ‘rojiblancos’ worked on ball release with finishing. Diego Godín didn’t train with his teammates as he’s been having problems in his left groin and did some running around the pitch.
At the end of the session, Quique Sanchez Flores released the squad list. The novelty is the return of Forlan after having recovered from his injury. For their part Fran Mérida, Godín and Koke haven’t recovered from their respective injuries and have not been called up. Reyes and Tiago, due to suspension, have also been left off the list. Alberto Noguera, reserve squad midfielder, is another one of the inclusions in the list.
