The medical report informs that the player suffers a “muscle injury in grade I of the semitendinosus muscle of his right back thigh (no tearing)” and is “pending evolution".
The striker had to leave Camp Nou on minute 30 of the first half after injuring himself in a fortuitous play with Barcelona’s midfield, Sergio Busquets.
Om the other hand, Arda Turan, who also visited the same medical centre, due to discomforts after the match in Camp Nou, has been diagnosed with a “groin injury” that will force him to follow a "physical therapy and recovery treatments” and, like his team mate Diego Costa, will be “pending evolution".
