Diego Costa, nominated for "Best forward of the 2013-14 League"
He competes for the award along with Carlos Vela and Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Professional Football League (LFP) unveiled last Friday the three candidates for the best forward of the 2013-14 League championship. Diego Costa is placed within the three finalists in his own right thanks to the magnificent season he had last year. His 27 League goals were vital for our team to earn the League title and the LFP recognised his accomplishment with this nomination.
This candidacy joins the ones we already knew about players such as Thibaut Courtois, Miranda and Filipe Luis, Gabi, and Koke, fighting for the awards of Best Goalkeeper, Best Defender, Best Midfielder, and Best Offensive Midfielder respectively, of last season’s League.
