Come to the Wanda Metropolitano on the Metro in a few touches

This Thursday morning, there was a promotion event for the use of the Metro to come to the Wanda Metropolitano. The underground is the best mobility option, as the Estadio Metropolitano station is just metres from the pitch.

This presentation was attended by our chairman Enrique Cerezo, our manager Diego Pablo Simeone and the players Torres, Gabi, Koke, Saúl and Griezmann. Representing the Community of Madrid was its president Cristina Cifuentes, accompanied by different representatives of her cabinet.

Under the slogan 'Come to the pitch in few touches', Atlético de Madrid and Metro want to promote the use of the underground as the best way to come to the Wanda Metropolitano. Our players Griezmann, Godín and Thomas have supported each of the lines that coincide with their squad numbers that will take the fans to the stadium.

Enrique Cerezo wanted to note: "Today, we have made the first trip on the Metro, like thousands and thousands of our fans will make, and they will do it from this station which is in the stadium, something that very few clubs in the world have."

In addition, the Estadio Metropolitano station will have a strong link with Atlético de Madrid. It is decorated with images of the history of our stadiums and of our badges that will make Atléticos feel at home as soon as they get off the train.
