Baptistão wears the red and white of Atleti
The Brazilian was presented at the Jarama circuit.
Leo Baptistão was presented on Friday July 5th as a new Atletico player in a ceremony held in the Volkswagen Race Tour taking place at the Circuit of Jarama.
During the ceremony, in which the player was welcomed by President Enrique Cerezo, sporting director and Jose Luis Perez Caminero and his compatriot and club legend Luiz Pereira, Baptistão was excited by this new phase of his career. "Today marks a dream. I have really wanted to start," he said.
The player, who arrives from Rayo Vallecano is looking forward to being under the command of Simeone, who will lead the first team training at Majadahonda Sports City this evening at 6pm. "I’m thinking of working hard and earning my place in the Atleti team" he said in his presentation as an Atletico player.
