Back to work on July 5th
Diego Pablo Simeone will meet with his staff on Friday July 5th in a training session at the Majadahonda Sports City where they’ll undergo the relevant medical tests.
The Athletic preseason is about to start. Atleti's first team are back at work on July 5th to begin preparations for the 2013/2014 season, which will see the team contest the Champions League and the Supercopa of Spain in late August. Simeone and his staff have informed his players that first day in the Cerro del Espino Majadahonda will be designated to the relevant medical tests.
Three days later, on the afternoon of July 8th, Atletico will move to Los Angeles de San Rafael, the usual place for Atletico at this time of year. After several days doing the specific work in preparation for the games, the stage in Segovia will end on the 21st of this month with the first game of the preseason taking place in the town Burgo de Osma.
