Atlético prepared for a tough match against Levante
LaLiga returns and the lads will face Levante, a traditionally tough team for Atlético de Madrid.
After a 2-0 win against Roma in the Champions League, LaLiga returns as Atlético de Madrid will face Levante.
Our club is currently undefeated in LaLiga with six wins and six draws and the lads look to extend the streak against Levante.
Atlético won't have a natural right-back for the match, as both Juanfran and Vrsaljko haven't travelled with the team. Thomas could play in that position, like he did against Roma on Wednesday.
Levante have always been a tough team for our club and Diego Pablo Simeone expects a difficult match.
"Levante are a team that work very well, especially when they counterattack," he said. "They’ve played some very good matches, so we expect a difficult and tough rival. If we want to get the three points, we need to seize control of the game."
