Atleti to face Getafe at the Wanda Metropolitano in LaLiga opener

Atleti will kick off the 2019/2020 LaLiga season with a derby against Getafe at the Wanda Metropolitano on the weekend of Aug. 17-18!
The draw, which took place on Thursday at the Spanish FA headquarters, also revealed that the first derby against Real Madrid will be played on matchday 7 at the Wanda Metropolitano on Sep. 29-30. The return fixture will take place on Feb. 1-2 (matchday 22).
The draw also revealed that Atleti will face FC Barcelona on matchday 15 at our stadium on the weekened of Nov. 30-Dec.1. The return fixture will take place on matchday 33 at the Camp Nou on April 26.
Just like last season, the fixture list will be asymmetrical, so the order of the matches is different on both halves of the season. For this reason, our first game of the second half of the season, which will take place on Jan. 18-19, will be played at Eibar.
We will face Real Sociedad on May 23-24 at the Wanda Metropolitano in our last match of the season.
