Our side dominated the match in the Wanda Metropolitano and Kevin Gameiro scored a beautiful goal in the 7th minute to give our side the lead (5-1 on aggregate). Atlético kept dominating possession and had chances to double the lead.
Fernando Torres had a great chance to score the second, but his header went wide. Later in the match, Andersen made a great save to deny Gameiro. The rest of the match was calm and 'los rojiblancos' were in complete control.
The draw to determine our rival in the Round of 16 will take place on Friday at 1 p.m. in Nyon, Switzerland.
