Atletico Madrid held the final training session on Saturday morning before travelling to Villareal. Atletico trained for about an hour on the field 4 in the Majadahonda Sports City. Diego Costa, Adrian and Guilavogui worked with the group after not having done so on Friday for different physical reasons. Youth teamers Lucas, Milla and Pablo Trigueros also trained with the first side. Mario Suarez continued his recovery in the gym.

After the session, the Argentine coach offered a list of 19 players, which featured the return of Arda Turan and the presence of Lucas Hernandez the Juvenile defender, due to the absence of Giménez and Godin which together with Cristian Rodriguez, traveled on Saturday with the Uruguay national side to Istanbul, ahead of the first game of the World Cup play-off in Jordan on Wednesday.

The team travels this afternoon br charter to Valencia and from there will travel by road to Castellon ahead of the important match against Villarreal.
