Antoine Griezmann scores the 8,000th goal of the UEFA Champions League
Our striker had two goals against Brujas and entered in the UEFA Champions League history after scoring the 8,000th goal in the biggest club competition.
Antoine Griezmann had a stellar performance at the Wanda Metropolitano against Brugge in the Champions League matchday two. The Frenchman scored twice and ended up putting the icing on the cake of his great game by giving an assist to Koke who scored the final 3-1.
But that's not all, the French forward is part of the history of this club competition. it was running the 67th minute of the match and our team was insistently looking for the winning goal when Diego costa started with the ball at this feet, won the end line and saw the arrival of Griezmann, who beat the Belgian goalkeeper with a cross shot. A goal that in the end would be historic because it would be the 8,000th goal of the UEFA Champions League and had the red-and-white stamp.
