An old friend from the Bundesliga
The Champions League draw has paired our team with Bayer Leverkusen, an old friend of Simeone’s team, since they played two years ago, also in the last 16 of Europe's club showpiece.

In its track record, we need to add a UEFA Cup in 1988 after beating RCD Espanyol in the final.
