HE HAS MADE THE SQUAD MORE COMPETITIVE

Allegri, the Italian who brought peace

He doesn’t have a lot of experience as a football coach, but he’s still finding a niche within the broad cast of great coaches out there in Europe.

Before his time coaching he played as a midfielder for various Italian teams. He debuted in Serie A with Pisa against his current team AC Milan, in the 1988/89 season. His playing career ended in Aglianese in the fourth division in 2003.

In that same club he began his career as coach. In 2009 he moved to Cagliari, and that season was named the best coach in Serie A. A run of poor results led to his resignation at Cagliari on April 13, 2010. Then he was hired by Milan. Leading the Rossoneri he managed to win the Italian league in his first season.
