Agreement with Zenith for the loan of Ansaldi
The versatile Argentinian fullback will play next season loaned in our team after the agreement reached with the Russian team.
Atlético de Madrid and Zenit St. Petersburg have reached an agreement for a one-season loan of Cristian Ansaldi (Rosario, Argentina, 1986). The Argentinian underwent the corresponding medical examination before signing the loan contract with our Club.
José Luis Pérez Caminero, Atlético’s Sporting Manager, said, "Ansaldi is a player who’s going to help us increase the group’s competitiveness. He's a fullback who can play at both sidelines, with a great defence level and offers many variables on the attack. He will bring plenty with his versatility, we are very pleased with this agreement”.
