Adrian: "The goal is more important for the team"
Adrian scored the goal in the Petrovsky Stadium after receiving a pass from Raúl García. The Spaniard was back amongst the goals after scoring against Getafe on Saturday.
Adrian Lopez spoke to the media after the draw against Zenit. He said about his goal "it is always important for any attacker to score but more importantly for the team."
The Spaniard lamented the goal that was scored by Zenit because the game was going in favour of Atletico. He noted that "we work to try to win. It has been an unlucky goal, it was a tough place to play."
