Adrian : "I'm eager to get back as soon as possible
The striker featured in the press conference after training. He spoke of motivation that Simeone has instilled in the squad and the competition for a starting place.
After his return to training with the group, Adrian said that "the team is at a high level. It's good to have that competition between us, because there is more demand on the people who are playing less".
The good level in the squad is down to "since the coach joined has handled this subject very well. The group we have is very hardworking and respectful. It is one of the key things to doing well. We are all pulling in the same direction and we know that we are all important."
When questioned about Simeone, the Atletico striker stressed that "he is always motivating those who are playing less, because every minute we play we have to give one hundred percent."
To conclude, Adrian said he was "very happy and eager to return as soon as possible to be with the team so I can help and try to carry on as before."
