PSV Eindhoven is a historic of Dutch football. 22 titles in the Eredivisie, 9 Dutch Cups, 10 Dutch Super Cups, a Champions League and a UEFA Cup.
Our next rival in the round of 16 of the Champions League is a classic of continental football. In addition, it is one of the most honoured Dutch clubs with 22 Eredivisie (League), 9 KNVB Beker (Cup), 10 Dutch Super Cups, a Champions League (1987/1988) and a UEFA Cup (1977/1978).
One of the most glorious stages of the club was with Guus Hiddink as its coach. After the 1986 and 1987 Eredivisie, in the 1987/1988 season they achieved a treble by winning the Eredivisie, the Cup, and the Champions League, in the final played in Stuttgart against Benfica and in the shootout. Since then, in the 1990s, they would win the League three times and the Cup once again, although it wouldn’t be successful in Europe. Last season, it regained the throne of the Netherlands by winning the Eredivisie.
