Atlético de Madrid's 2017 year in review

3 January: Our first victory of the year. 0-2 against Las Palmas.
7 January: Our first league match of the year also ended 0-2, with Saúl and Griezmann as the goalscorers.
4 February: Fernando Torres scored a brace and equaled Adelardo's mark as the club's sixth player with the most goals for Atlético de Madrid.
12 February: An epic comeback in the Vicente Calderón against Celta. In the 85th minute we were losing 1-2, but Carrasco and Griezmann scored in the 86th and 89th minute to give us the win.
18 February: Kevin Gameiro showed the world what he could do and scored a hat-trick against Sporting de Gijón.
15 March: With a triple save against Bayer Leverkusen, Jan Oblak showed why he's one of the best goalkeepers in the world.
21 February: Saúl scored a golazo in our 2-4 win against Bayer Leverkusen.
19 March: In a crucial duel against Sevilla in the Vicente Calderón, we won 3-1 thanks to Godín, Griezmann and Koke's goals.
15 Abrill: On the Día del Niño, Carrasco made sure to bring a smile to all the kids. The Belgian scored twice and Filipe scored the 3-0.
29 April: A resounding 0-5 win in Las Palma's Estadio de Gran Canaria.
14 May: Stefan Savic scored his first goal for the club and got us the three points against Betis. This win secured our qualification for the UEFA Champions League Group Stage for the fifth year in a row.
21 May: We played our last-ever match in the Vicente Calderón. The game ended 3-1 in our favor against Athletic Club.
21 May: Jan Oblak won his second Zamora Trophy.
28 May: The Vicente Calderón hosted the Legends Match 'Final de Leyenda' to say goodbye.
10 July: We became second in UEFA's club ranking, thanks to our strong showings in the Champions League.
2 August: We lifted the Audi Cup, after beating Liverpool on penalties.
19 August: Gabi wore the captain's armband for a sixth-straight season, a club record.
26 August: For the third time in 2017, we played in the Estadio de Gran Canaria and won 1-5.
16 September: We inaugurated the amazing Wanda Metropolitano against Málaga. Antoine Griezmann scored the only goal of the match.
23 September: The second-ever match in the Wanda Metropolitano ended in an Atlético victory against Sevilla.
28 October: Diego Godín became the foreign-born player with the most matches for Atlético de Madrid. He surpassed Luis Amaranto Perea's 314 matches.
18 November: Before the first-ever derby in the Wanda Metropolitano kicked off, a moment of silence was held in honor of Feliciano Rivilla.
22 November: Fernando Torres surpassed Luis Aragonés' 371 matches for Atlético de Madrid. Club legends!
10 December: After beating Betis 1-0, the lads completed one year without a loss away from home in league matches.
31 December: Diego Costa was presented as an Atlético player. He's back!
31 December: Vitolo was presented in front of 25,000 fans!
