- Surely you have questions about our new stadium. That's why we prepared a list of the most common questions and answers related to the new facilities.
- Why a new stadium? The club has grown extraordinarily since we moved to the Vicente Calderón in 1966. In the Calderón, we experienced unforgettable nights, as we previously did in the old Metropolitano and. Our move to the Manzanares was due to the club’s desire to be more competitive and offer a better experience to our fans. Our move to the Wanda Metropolitano is so we can keep improve the access and evacuation routes, offer more parking space, a different shopping and eating experience and, above all, better comfort and visibility to the fans. Atlético fans deserve the best and the Wanda Metropolitano is the best.
- What is the capacity of the Wanda Metropolitano? The facilities will have an approximate capacity of about 68,000 spectators. The club decided to prioritize spaciousness, comfort and safety for the supporters instead of a having a larger capacity.
- Will club membership and tickets be more expensive? The Wanda Metropolitano has more seating than what was available in the Calderón. Thus, the experience of watching a live match will be available to a greater number of fans. The price range is broader so all fans can find the price range that best matches their needs.

- Are the seats covered? One of the iconic elements of the stadium is the roof. It covers the stands and 96 percent of the seats are protected from the rain. The structure also makes the atmosphere be even better.. Only the central space over the pitch will be open to the outside. You can find more information about the roofing here.
- Will it have a running track? The Wanda Metropolitano doesn't have a running track. In fact, the stands are very close to the pitch. In every location, the fans will have the opportunity to experience the match more closely except in the west side, where the distances will be similar to the Calderón's.
- How much bigger is the new stadium? The Wanda Metropolitano covers 88,150 square meters, while the Vicente Calderón covered 31,046 square meters.
- Where is the Wanda Metropolitano located? The Wanda Metropolitano is located in one of the most important growing areas of Madrid, in the northeast, next to the airport and in IFEMA’s area of influence.
- How can you get to the Wanda Metropolitano via public transportation? The Wanda Metropolitano has one of Madrid's largest metro stations, Estadio Metropolitano, (56 turnstiles to enter and exit). You can also get to the stadium through Las Musas (line 7), Las Rosas (line 2) and Canillejas (line 5). All of this will be complemented by several bus lines and the possibility of using the Cercanías train going to 'Coslada central' before connecting with line 7 of the metro.
- Can I drive to the Wanda Metropolitano? The Wanda Metropolitano will have 4,000 parking spaces available for fans (1,000 inside the building and 3,000 outside). To park in the stadium, you must have a parking pass.
